WANTED – MUSICIANS TO SHOWCASE THEIR TALENT!
Audi Victoria Week is seeking expression of interest from musicians who would be available to perform over the Australia Day long weekend in January 2011.
Audi Victoria Week is Australia’s premier sailing regatta attracting over 100,000 across the Australia Day weekend. This is an ideal opportunity to perform in front of a large crowd of spectators in a free festival environment.
If you are an original artist who can perform a minimum 45 minute set, please complete the following application form online to register your interest.
We have limited spaces available and only those who complete the application process will be considered. We also ask that you provide us with a current bio and CD or web link with samples of your music.
If your application is successful we will contact you to arrange a meeting, unfortunately given the sheer number of applications we are unable to contact those who are unsuccessful.
The following criteria will be used to assess applications:
- Suitability to festival audience
- Ability to fit within the program
- Demonstrated performance standard; and
- Fee/cost
Please note our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Terms & Conditions
Booking fees
While booking fees are negotiable, please note that we are a community festival run by a not for profit organization and our booking fees are generally lower than other events. It is worthy to note that we can guarantee a large audience and an opportunity to sell CDs following your performance. In terms of exposure this is a unique opportunity, Audi Victoria Week is not only Australia’s largest sailing regatta it is also the largest in the southern hemisphere. Please consider this before applying.
Riders
We do not provide catering riders for performers. Bottled water only will be provided.
Parking
Given the enormity of the event, parking is limited. Each band will be allocated one parking space during their performance. This space must be vacated immediately after your performance.
Accommodation
We do not supply accommodation however can suggest places to stay in the local area.
Production
Our PA/AV supplier is Total Events. Backline is provided on the main stage together with engineer and lighting personnel. Smaller stages are adequately equipped with PA and basic lighting together with operator.
